This province-wide cultural celebration will get the summer started in a big way. Featuring cultural festivals from across the Island, the Island Fusion Festival features many great events including 1864 Week, National Aboriginal Day, Celebrate Canada Week, Festival of Small Halls, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, Montague Paint it Beautiful - Plein-Air Festival, Tignish Irish Moss Festival, the Olde Fashioned Carnival, the St. Loius Bluegrass and Old time Music Campout, Homecoming 2014 Summerside Highland Gathering, Atlanticade, DiverseCity - multicultural street festival and the Big Red Festival.
In 5,600 square kilometers, you will find 40 artisans who would love to be your personal hosts during the Island Fusion Festival with their Open Studio Day and Authentic PEI Experiences. Master potters, wood workers, metal workers, jewelers and weaves create fabulous works of art throughout the Island, and welcome you to their studios to learn their craft. You and your family can learn from these Island artisans while you shop for genuine made-in-PEI crafts.
